Introduction of PVDF Film Series

PVDF (PolyVinylidiene Fluoride), the Chinese name polyvinylidiene fluoride, is an important member of the fluorine plastic family, also known as F22 in the industry. On the one hand, PVDF has typical characteristics of fluoroplastics, such as ultra-resistance to UV aging, stain resistance, corrosion resistance and flame retardant. The ultra-UV aging resistance is due to the two C-F bonds on the main chain of the PVDF molecule, whose bond energy is as high as 485KJ/mol. In the solar spectrum, even its high-energy UV-b band cannot break the C-F bond. In particular, PVDF is not sensitive to electron irradiation, and under 10MeV electron irradiation, the PVDF molecular chain can still remain intact, which is far better than other fluoroplastics. In addition, PVDF has a particularly good resistance to strong acids and oxidation, and can withstand 98% concentrated sulfuric acid at room temperature. On the other hand, PVDF also has some special properties, such as crystalline diversity, in which the b phase is electrically active, and piezoelectric films can be prepared. PVDF also has excellent electrochemical stability and acts as a positive binder for lithium-ion batteries. Some strong polar aprotic solvents (such as NMP, DMF, DMAC, etc.) can dissolve PVDF, using fusion or liquid-induced phase separation, and can prepare microporous ultrafiltration membranes for water treatment and special separation fields.

Today, Hangzhou Foremost has a strong capacity in the production capacity of PVDF film, single/multi-layer film blowing machine and casting machine, thermal and dry compounding machine and other large-scale production equipment and machines, with an annual capacity of more than 250 million square meters.
